Jellyfish Delivery Schedule

Scheduling Jellyfish Delivery

If your order contains live jellyfish you must choose "Overnight" or "Priority Overnight" as your shipping option.

Once your Jellyfish Aquarium is set up, you can order your live jellyfish from our website to be shipped right to your door.

Coupon codes can be submitted at this link. If you ordered a jellyfish kit, your account will already have credit for the jellyfish, food and shipping when you log in. Our flat rate Fed-Ex Overnight Express shipping of live items is $40.

We cannot ship jellyfish to Hawaii, Alaska, PO Boxes, Puerto Rico, other U.S. Territories, or other countries, except for orders to distributors. We do ship tanks and dry goods worldwide. Please see our international orders page for more details.

FedEx tracking information will provide estimate delivery time. Although the packages are usually delivered between 11am and 2pm, they could arrive any time between 9am and 8pm depending on your location. If you miss the delivery, FedEx will leave a note saying they tried to deliver it. You can call them at 800-GO-FEDEX with your tracking number (which we emailed to you the day before the package is scheduled to arrive) and often the driver will come back around to drop off the package. Otherwise it will be held at your local FedEx depot where you can pick it up. Make sure you pick it up before the depot closes.

In the evening before your package is scheduled to arrive, you will receive an email with your order information and FedEx tracking number, which you can use to get up-to-date information on your package. We recommend getting them delivered at work so the package can be taken out of the elements until the jellyfish can be introduced to the tank. You have until the end of the delivery day to acclimate them to the tank, but the sooner you do it the better. If you cannot get the jellyfish delivered at work and know you will not be home to receive the package please provide a cooler with ice packs or warm packs that a 8" x 8"x 8" box could fit into. Write clear instructions for FedEx to leave the box in there. Put the box in the shade and out of windy areas. You can also call FedEx at 800-GO-FEDEX right after you receive notification your package shipped to have it held at your local FedEx location where you can pick it up. Contact info and operating hours for your local FedEx depot are here.

Priority overnight shipping method for live jellyfish orders will ship as per the above schedule but will arrive earlier in the morning. Depending on your location it is typically by 10:30am.

Saturday deliveries are available for orders placed before noon eastern time by Friday and with Saturday delivery options chosen as the shipping method. Note that there is an additional shipping charge for Priority Overnight Saturday deliveries.
