We offer a 30-day money back guarantee on unused dry (non-perishable) goods purchased directly from Jellyfish Art. If you are not satisfied with an unused dry good, please return it to us within 30 days of purchase for a full refund. Email email@example.com to obtain a Tank Return Request Form. Once approved, ship your tank to Jellyfish Art, 2575 3rd St, San Francisco, CA 94107. Jellyfish Art issues refunds once the item has been inspected to confirm it is unused and unbroken. A 15% restocking fee will be deducted from the refunded amount. This does not apply to live animals and custom tanks. Note retailers may have different return policies, which override Jellyfish Arts return policy. You should contact them if you purchased our products from them. A tank that has been filled with water or substrate is considered used. DO NOT place accessories, like the pump, LED, hydrometer, loose inside the tank.
If your package arrives damaged due to shipping, please contact the shipping company with your tracking number to file a damage claim. Jellyfish Art uses FedEx for all domestic shipments and they can be reached at fedex.com or 1-800-GO-FEDEX. Please feel free to contact Jellyfish Art to help process these claims.
Jellyfish Art guarantees the Desktop Jellyfish Tank to the original purchaser against defects in components, materials, and workmanship (that occur under normal use) for a period of one year from the date of retail purchase. The warranty is not transferable and is confined to the original retail purchaser only.
Damage to the aquarium acrylic is not included. The warranty does not apply if damages result from misuse, accident, improper installation, lack of reasonable care, or if the product is not purchased from Jellyfish Art or an authorized dealer, damage due to modification or alteration that is made to the product, wrong circuitry or unspecified electrical input to the pump.
If customer does not want to perform needed repairs and they are covered by the warranty, Jellyfish Art will pay the return shipping charges. Jellyfish Art will either repair or replace the product and ship it back to the customer.
A copy of original purchase receipt and order number are required for return of the defective product. After any repairs/replacement of the unit, this warranty will thereafter continue and remain in force only for the unexpired period of warranty.
Moreover, the time taken for repair/replacement and in transit whether under the warranty or otherwise shall not be excluded from the warranty period. All returns must be made in original packaging, including a master carton around the retail carton within the Styrofoam mould.
Arrive Alive Guarantee:
We offer an Arrive Alive Guarantee for two days on our jellyfish livestock. We guarantee jellyfish that leave our facilities will ARRIVE ALIVE at its destination and will STAY ALIVE for at least 2 days with few exceptions.
If your purchase does not arrive alive or if it dies within 2 days of receiving it, we will replace it for FREE (excluding shipping). The following conditions must apply:
You must take delivery of your order upon its arrival day and acclimate it to the tank that day.
Aquarist must acclimate the new arrivals according to our Acclimation Procedures even if they appear to be lifeless. Many times, specimens that look dead will frequently recover within minutes when acclimated.
Tap water cannot have been used in the tank. Jellyfish require salt water that has been made from distilled water or passed through a reverse osmosis filter.
Delivery must be in the contiguous United States.
If your package is delivered at least one day late due to shipping delays, please contact the shipping company to file a late delivery claim claim. Jellyfish Art uses FedEx Express for all domestic shipments and they can be reached at fedex.com or 1 800 GO FEDEX. Please feel free to contact Jellyfish Art to help process these claims.
You must have purchased a Jellyfish Art tank in order to have your jellyfish shipment fall under the Arrive Alive guarantee. Jellyfish require special tanks designed specifically for jellyfish and Jellyfish Art cannot be held responsible for jellyfish placed in incorrectly designed tanks.
If You Suffer A Loss of Jellyfish:
File a claim with Jellyfish Art immediately here.
Claims must be completed not more than 2 days after receiving jellyfish.
Jellyfish Art will replace the specimen or provide livestock credit for the amount of the purchase price.
Replacements are subject to availability.
Sorry, credit cards cannot be refunded for lost jellyfish.
Shipping charges for replacement fish are the responsibility of the customer. Jellyfish Art does not pay shipping on replacement fish.
Hermit Crabs / Cleaner Snails:
In the event that a hermit crab or cleaner snail is dead on arrival or missing from your order Jellyfish Art will refund you the full cost of the item or provide store credit for the item(s), whichever you prefer. Shipping cost will NOT be covered or refunded.
