Acclimating Jellyfish and Live Accessories Upon arrival, jellyfish must be gradually introduced to their new home because water conditions in shipping bag will be different from those inside the tank.
Acclimation Jellyfish arrive in an insulated shipping container. Make sure someone will be available to receive jellyfish shipment on your scheduled delivery day. We recommend getting them delivered at work so the package can be brought inside until the jellyfish can be introduced to the tank. You have until the end of the delivery day to acclimate them to the tank, but it is best to do it as soon as possible. You will receive an email with your FedEx tracking number the evening before your jellyfish arrive.
After you have acclimated your jellyfish, be sure to maintain the water level within the indicator line.

Jellyfish Art's food is specifically formulated for jellyfish. It is made from planktonic eggs high in HUFAs (Highly Unsaturated Fatty Acids), which are essential for proper nutrition. We strongly recommend feeding your jellyfish with our food only. Other fish foods that claim to be suitable for jellyfish are often low quality. For jellyfish keepers who are interested, you can also hatch your own live food using our brine shrimp hatcher. Feeding jellyfish too much results in poor water quality. Jellyfish should be fed daily, although it's okay to skip feeding for a weekend if they get extra food before and after. Please do not combine feedings into a single feeding. It is best to have two feedings per day, feeding ½ scoop of Jelly Food each feeding. You can re-suspend any uneaten food on the bottom of the tank using the pipette after each feeding. Feeding Instructions: Once your Jelly Food arrives, store in the refrigerator in between feedings. Daily Feed jellyfish once a day; once in the morning or once in the evening. Add ½ level scoop of Jelly Food to a reusable aquarium only cup and use the turkey baster to add some water and moisturize the food so it won't float as much. The food may remain on the surface and slowly sink over time feeding the jellyfish in a manner similar to what they would encounter in the open ocean. Increase or decrease food dosage accordingly depending on number of jellyfish. Use feeding pipette to re-suspend uneaten food into water column for jellyfish to eat. Jellyfish are significantly healthier in a clean tank. Note: if your tank contains more than 3 jellyfish, take extra care with water quality. You may want to perform water changes more frequently. Jellyfish are living creatures that require a specific diet. Jellyfish Art has created a specially formulated jellyfish food to provide these animals with proper nutrition, while maintaining ease of use for the aquarist. Please note, using other fish foods could seriously harm jellyfish. Jellyfish Art Jellyfish Food is available at www.Jellyfishart.com/shop
