The only jellyfish food providing complete nutrition for jellyfish! Made of several plankton ingredients up to 800 microns in size. This plankton is high in HUFAs (Highly Unsaturated Fatty Acids), which are essential for proper nutrition. We strongly recommend feeding your jellyfish with our food only or in combination with live baby brine shrimp. Other fish foods that claim to be suitable for jellyfish are often low quality or lacking in their nutritional composition. All of our aquacultured jellyfish are raised on a strict diet of our dry Jelly Food and live baby brine shrimp.

(Scoop included inside the food bag! Food should be kept in your refrigerator.) 

For 3-4 jellyfish feed 1/4 scoop of dry Jelly Food in total once per day. Feeding amounts may be adjusted gauging that minimal food is left on the aquarium floor.  Typical feeding amount will reach about 1/2 a scoop once daily. (Make sure to monitor ammonia levels daily whenever there is an increase in food.) During feeding you may mix the dry food in a small container with a small amount of aquarium water, this solution can be dispersed into the aquarium. Leftover food should be removed daily using your feeding pipette or our mini siphon to maintain good and clean water quality.

Directions: Keep Chemi-pure Blue sealed in container until ready for use. Remove bag from container and rinse gently under clean running water until clear, then place nylon bag in any outside power filter, canister filter, or external sump. For the Jellyfish Art tank, place under the Bubble Channel Plate. For the Jellyflap Aquarium place in right-most compartment underneath the overflow. For best results water should flow through the filter bag and media. Chemi-pure Blue should be changed every month depending on bio-load.

Use one 22g packet for 5 US Gallons. (Or one Jellyfish Aquarium!)

Live baby brine shrimp are an extremely nutritious food for moon jellyfish and are especially good for rebuilding tissue with injured or shrinking jellyfish.

Hatching your own brine shrimp is now even easier with this new Artemia Breeder. Just add salt water, eggs, and place near a light source. Brine shrimp hatch within 24-48 hours depending on temperature and light availability. Optimal hatching temperature for highest percentage yeild is 75-80F.

Hatched shells are automatically separated from your live brine shrimp!
