Checking Salinity
Last Updated: 12/12/2011
You should check the salinity of your jellyfish tank whenever you do a water change, which should be once a week.

Approximate completion time: 1 minute.

How to measure salinity with a hydrometer:

1. Fill the hydrometer with water from your tank.
2. Knock any bubbles off the needle and wait for it to stop moving. It will point to the specific gravity on the scale.

Add fresh or salt water as needed to bring salinity between 1.024 and 1.028.
